Research Interests

My research interests are in Spintronics and Micro-magnetics. In particular, I investigate how the spin-orbit effects in semiconductors and metals can be used for efficient magnetisation switching and spin-current generation. I use spin-pumping and spin-orbit driven FMR techniques to study the spin-orbit fields in a variety of magnetic systems.
